What RES-T is
RES-T is currently offered as a controlled early-access learning product. The app is designed to be local-first: study documents, notes, flashcards, and progress are intended to stay on the user's device unless a user explicitly chooses an external AI feature.
Information we may receive
If you request access, join the TestFlight beta, or send feedback by email, RISI AI LABS may receive your name, email address, device details, study goals, feedback, screenshots you choose to send, and the message you choose to send. Do not email passwords, government ID, banking details, or private school records.
TestFlight beta access
Apple TestFlight may process information according to Apple's own TestFlight and App Store terms. RISI AI LABS will use TestFlight invite information only to provide beta access, support testers, and improve RES-T before public release.
Study documents and notes
During early access, RES-T is intended for learning material that users are allowed to study. Users should not place sensitive student records, grades, attendance, disability information, IEP details, behavior records, banking details, government ID, passwords, or recovery codes into RES-T documents, prompts, notes, or support emails.
AI and voice features
Typed and voice questions are under user control. Microphone access is requested only after a user presses the microphone button. Optional AI features may require a user-provided provider key or a configured backend. Experimental Kokoro voice work is not part of the public App Store release unless RISI AI LABS enables it after review. We will not ask users to send passwords or recovery codes.
School and family use
Any school or family pilot should focus on approved learning material only. Wider school deployment requires a separate privacy review, consent process, data handling plan, and support process before sensitive student information is considered.
Payments
Public online checkout is not active yet. Any early-access payment process must be confirmed manually with RISI AI LABS before money is collected.
